 SandSense SWD-2 - Sand Sensor and Controller
A unique in-line particulate sensor, designed specifically for field operation.
The SandSense continuously monitors and tests the discharged water content at the well site.
It is designed for continuous operation without the need for routine cleaning and maintenance.
The Controller (SWD-2C) is a dedicated programmable device which:

Automatically controls the sand separation process

Calculates the sand concentration

Reports the results to the SCADA room

Stores the results in non-volatile memory

Triggers an alarm whenever the sand concentration exceeds a pre-defined threshold
The Sand Sensor (SWD-2S) consists of :

A centrifugal sand separator

A sand chamber for collecting the sand particles

A photo electric sensor

A set of water valves that control the water flow
